More than 1,000 times per second the pedal force, pedaling frequency and speed of your Urban Arrow cargo bike are measured. This enables the organic interplay between you and your cargo bike.

The integration of the drive unit in the bottom bracket improves stability due to the low center of gravity, and you experience direct power transmission to the rear wheel through the chain or belt. The driving force is sent via the pedals, this is also called pedal assistance. The harder you pedal, the more support from the electric drive. All this is perfectly sensed by the Bosch drive unit.

"The Bosch motors have a low-maintenance electronic control system that continuously measures the power, cadence and speed with extreme precision. The e-bike system is one of the best in the world. The motors are available in different versions that mainly vary in torque, expressed in Newton meters (Nm). The greater the power in Nm, the higher the torque and the greater the acceleration. Our electric cargo bikes are also equipped with a walking aid or Walk Assist. This allows you to manually activate support without having to turn the pedals, useful when walking uphill with your bicycle in your hand, for example.

With a range of functions at your fingertips, the system offers much more than just driving support. In addition to the four levels of pedal assistance (driving modes), you can select numerous other useful functions depending on the model.

The Bosch PowerPacks batteries are the efficient energy suppliers you need for a long-lasting and reliable ride. The lithium-ion batteries combine low weight with an ergonomic design and ease of use. With their impressive range and longevity, they are designed to get you from A to B effortlessly, time and time again. In addition, they are equipped with an intelligent battery management system (BMS) that protects the battery against possible damage, making them among the most modern and safest batteries on the market.

The battery is stylishly and functionally integrated into the frame of your electric cargo bike. Charging is a piece of cake: you can choose to simply remove the battery from the cargo bike and charge it separately with a Bosch charger, or you can charge it directly on the bike. With a lifespan of 800 to 1,000 charging cycles and without ""memory effect"", the battery is always ready for use. Depending on the size of the battery, the full charging time is only 3 to 6 hours.
