Urban Arrow Connected – Outsmart the thief

When you purchase a Connected Urban Arrow cargo bike, you will receive an activation code (QR code). You will find this on a sticker in the battery compartment or as a paper activation card. You can add your Connected cargo bike to the Urban Arrow app using this activation code. Follow the steps as described in the app.

Keep the code safe for future use (when you want to add the bike again, for example, or in the event of a sale).

Your Connected bike is linked to your account with which you log into the Connected app. In case you have two Connected bikes, you therefore also have two accounts. You can switch between these two accounts in the app by logging out with one account and logging back in with the other.

You can also link a bike to multiple users. Other users can log in to the Urban Arrow app on their phone using the same login details to access the bike. This way, you all have access to the benefits offered by the Urban Arrow app.

The Urban Arrow Connected app can be downloaded for both IOS and Android devices from the  Apple App store or Google Play store.

In the Netherlands, Kingpolis, ENRA and Unigarant / ANWB offer special Urban Arrow Connected bike insurance. In Belgium, only ENRA currently offers the Connected insurance. For quotes or to take out Connected bike insurance, please contact your Urban Arrow dealer.

Only with an Urban Arrow Connected bike insurance you can easily report theft, quickly request breakdown assistance and use the tracking service via the Urban Arrow app.

The insurance cover and excess varies per insurance policy. You can find the exact details on the insurers’ websites.

If you want to add insurance to your Urban Arrow bike with Connected, you can do this easily in the Urban Arrow app. You can add insurance that you have taken out through the dealer (ANWB/Unigarant, Kingpolis or ENRA) or your own personal insurance (Laka) in the app.

1. At the bottom of the menu, you will see the ‘Service’ button. Click it and you will automatically be taken to the next screen.
   
2. Under the heading insurance, you will find information about the insurance. Then click on ‘change insurance’ at the bottom of the screen.
3. You will now come to a screen where you can choose between the different insurance companies affiliated with us. Select the insurer and save your choice.
   
4. See an example below (e.g. ANWB). This way, your insurance is added to your Urban Arrow app.
   

Have you taken out special Connected bike insurance? Then you report theft via the Urban Arrow app.

The location of your bike is then temporarily shared with your insurer’s detection team. They specialise in recovering stolen bikes and will try to recover your bike as quickly as possible. If not, you will receive a new bike through your insurance company after reporting the theft to the police.

Did you report a theft by mistake? You can always cancel a theft report via the app.
