Especially when the box is filled with children or groceries, the bike has a different center of gravity and a different braking distance than a regular bicycle. This system prevents your front wheel from locking up when you need to brake unexpectedly. This is especially helpful in sudden traffic situations or on slippery roads.

How does ABS work on a bike?
Think of ABS as a smart assistant that helps you brake safely, even in a panic. Here is how it works:

• Continuous monitoring: sensors on the wheels constantly measure your speed. They can detect within a fraction of a second if a wheel is about to lock up, for example, during a hard brake on a slippery road.

• Smart intervention: the moment the system feels you might lose your grip, it automatically adjusts the pressure on your brakes. It’s like the bike is thinking along with you, making sure the wheel keeps rolling just enough so you don’t slip.
