Urban Arrow Connected+ is an one-stop solution for securing and insuring your bike against theft:

1. You benefit from Laka’s full and top-notch theft protection and recovery service for one year, at no extra cost.

2. Your bike and battery are covered, and if your bike cannot be found, you get a full refund.

3. When your bike gets stolen, you pay no excess.

4. After the benefits of the first year, you have the option to continue your insurance with Laka, which will offer you a competitive premium. Or you can choose to switch to another insurance provider.

You will also benefit from a free data plan for the first year – this will keep your bike connected to the Urban Arrow app at all times at no extra cost.

On our Family Performance Essential and Active Plus models, Connected+ is now included as a standard feature. Urban Arrow Connected+ combines an integrated GPS tracker with complete theft insurance with recovery service. With Connected+, you benefit from Laka’s full and top-notch theft protection and recovery service for one year, at no extra cost. Your bike and battery are covered, and if your bike cannot be found, you get a full refund. Via the app, you are also in touch with your bike 24/7. For other Family models, we offer Connected. You have the option to build in a GPS and with our app you are always connected to your bike. You also have the option of taking out bicycle insurance via Connected. Which has been developed in cooperation with the largest insurers in the Netherlands and Belgium. If you choose a Connected+ bike, it includes a GPS chip and motion sensor. Upon purchase, you will receive an activation code (QR). You can use this to add your bike to the Urban Arrow app. Important: Once you have activated your bike in the app, you will receive a notification to sign up with Laka. You have one month to claim your free year of theft insurance from the moment you start using your bike. If you don’t do so within a month, the offer of the free year of insurance Laka expires.

Bike activated in the app? Then from now on, you will know exactly where your bike is and when your bike is moving. In case of theft, you simply report it in the app. In addition, a sticker on the bike indicates that it is Connected, which offers the advantage that thieves will think twice before taking your bike.

Download the Urban Arrow app and create an account. Then register your bike using the QR code you received when you purchased your Connected+ Family cargo bike. Make sure you register the Laka theft insurance in the app up to March 31st 2024. Only then can you take advantage of the extra year of free theft insurance. You will receive an email from Laka with a unique code. With this code you can take out an extra year of free insurance with Laka after the first year.

Laka will be in touch when your 12 months are coming to an end to remind you that you can continue to insure your bike with them against theft. As an Urban Arrow Connected+ customer, you will benefit from favourable pricing with Laka, and they can help you choose one of Laka’s range of bike insurance products to suit your needs.

If you would like to extend your Laka insurance after the initial free 12-month theft cover, click here to see the indicative monthly price for continuing your theft cover. Or you can choose to switch to a different insurance provider. Either way, you can just keep enjoying your smooth rides without any stress.

To continue using all the features of the Urban Arrow app, after 12 months you will incur the data subscription fee, €39 per year.

In the unfortunate case your bike has been stolen, report your theft as soon as possible on the Urban Arrow app. As soon as you report your bicycle stolen Laka’s recovery service will begin searching for your bike immediately. Once the recovery team has concluded their search you will be notified in your Urban Arrow app of the outcome.

Laka will contact you to guide you through the claims process and aim to process your claim within 72 hours of the recovery outcome

If it is successful, your bike will be delivered to a local police station or other safe location and Laka will inform you of where to pick it up. If unfortunately, your bike is not able to be recovered, Laka will provide you with voucher worth the full replacement value for you to hand in at any Urban Arrow dealership.

Congratulations on buying your Urban Arrow bike with Connected+, the all-in-one solution for securing and insuring your Family cargo bike. Download the Urban Arrow app now and create an account. Register your bike using the QR code you received when you purchased your bike. The app will automatically guide you step by step to activate your 1 year theft insurance with Laka. (Do this in the first month after purchase). Once you accept the terms and conditions, Laka theft insurance will automatically be added to your profile and will be active for the first 12 months at no extra cost.

When you purchase a Connected+ Urban Arrow cargo bike, you will receive an activation code (QR code). You will find this on a sticker in the battery tray or as a paper activation card. You can add your Connected cargo bike to the Urban Arrow app using this activation code. Follow the steps as described in the app.

Save the code well for future use (when you want to add the bike again, for example, or in case of a possible sale).

Your Connected+ bike is linked to the account you use to log in to the Urban Arrow app. If you have two Connected+ bikes, you also have two accounts. You can switch between the two accounts in the app by logging out with one account and logging in with the other.

Of course you can. Your account is linked to your Urban Arrow bike. Other users can log in to the Urban Arrow app on their phone using the same credentials to access the bike. This way you all have access to the benefits of the Urban Arrow app
